Covid is on the rise.

There has been a 77% rise in the cases compared to last week, out of these 60% are of the Omicron variant of SARS-Cov-2. Which is "being more transmissible, circulating at the same time as Delta, is leading to a tsunami of cases,” :- WHO chief Tedros Adhanom.


Mining operations that were halted in 2018 start.

The low-grade iron ore, its export was kept on the stay during the previous government. It has been restarted. The mining industry which was previously (2011) contributing 15-16% in the Gross domestic produce of the state now reduced to merely 2% and is supposed to bounce back as the operations are unfolding.



Under the Atmanirbhar initiative, more items were made indigenously.

Earlier this year 'The indigenous manufacturing list' stopped the import of 209 items by Defense public sector undertakings (DPSUs), they must be manufactured in India. Now defence ministry has notified that 2500 subsystems must be manufactured in India as well and furthermore 351 items to be substituted within the next 3 years. This will save foreign exchange of 3000 crore rupees per year.



A search operation group attacked in Mirhama, Kulgam.

In Mirhama which is an area of Kulgam J&K, a search operation was being carried out by special forces when suddenly militants ambushed the group. 3 militants were killed in the close encounter while one policeman was injured, was hospitalized imminently and is recovering.



The rise in Bank GNPAS

From 6.9% this year in September to 9.5% in 2022 the Bank GNPAS in India seems to have a rise of 2.4%.
